Domaine en birbès
In the hilly landscape of the South of France’s Languedoc-Roussillon region, surrounded by sunflower and grain fields, you’ll find the medieval village of Laurac. At the bottom of this small village, home to just 200 residents, is the lovely Domaine en Birbes.
You can stay in one of the six safari tents here (including a private bathroom), or in one of the gites.

If you don't feel like cooking yourself, discover one of the many restaurants in the area or enjoy their table d'hôtes evenings they host a few times a week. On Saturday evenings they serve fresh, homemade pizzas prepared in our wood-fired pizza oven.

Kids are welcome. It is a very child friendly place and a high chair and cot are available on request. Also they have a kids menu for the table d'hôtes evenings. There are many things to do around and on the property.

You can rent the tree house for kids (above 7) to sleep in next to one of the apartments.

Prices range from 795 euros a week for a safari tent in low season to 1745 euros a week for a gite in high season.

Location
Laurac is situated in the Aude department, which is located in the Occitanie region in the southern part of France. It is known for its diverse landscapes, ranging from the stunning Mediterranean coastline to the rugged terrain of the Corbières mountains. The department is named after the Aude River. Domaine en birbes is 30 minutes from the city of Carassone.
